  • Wednesday, May 6 –  Spring 2026 MDS Clinical Conference & Membership Meeting hosted by the Johns Hopkins Department of Dermatology. Our special guest speaker is Arturo P. Saavedra, MD., PhD, MBA who has served as Dean of the VCU School of Medicine, a national expert in the care, management and immunopathology of Graft-versus-host disease.
  • August 13 – Dermatology Residents Summer Social at the Rye Street Tavern on the Baltimore Peninsula (Port Covington)
  • September 10 – Immune Checkpoint Inhibitors in BCC and CSCC: Aligning Clinical Practice with Best Practices and Guidelines (PDF Flyer with registration) Our speaker is David Miller, MD, PhD. Dr. Miller is one of the very few clinicians in the entire country who is board certified in Internal Medicine, Dermatology and Medical Oncology.   • October 16 – Fall 2026 MDS Clinical Conference & Dr. Bahram Sina Memorial Lectureship hosted by the University of Maryland Department of Dermatology — Courtney J. Ensslin, MD, will present “Not Just Another Bump in the Road: Rare Tumors Disguised as Benign Lesions.” Dr. Ensslin is the Director of Skin Cancer Surgery at The Blavatnik Family Chelsea Medical Center and Assistant Professor of Dermatology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Case presentations will be part of the agenda. Lunch will be served at 12:15. The meeting will be at the University of Maryland School of Medicine SMC Campus Center, 621 West Lombard Street, Baltimore, MD 21201.
  • November 19 – Membership Dinner & CME — We are pleased to welcome Dr. Joel Sunshine who will present “The Changing Landscape of Dermatology Residency Selection.” Joel Sunshine, MD, PhD, MS, is Assistant Professor and Dermatology Residency Program Director at JHU. Join the Maryland Dermatologic Society (MDS) for our upcoming November Membership Dinner Meeting and Continuing Medical Education (CME) lecture at Josefina in Baltimore’s Harbor Point neighborhood.
