Volunteering with MDS! 2026 Skin Cancer Screening Day in Annapolis

 

On February 12, our Maryland Dermatologic Society dermatologists participated in our annual skin cancer screening in Annapolis. We thank our members for volunteering. MDS has hosted this annual event with the American Academy of Dermatology since 2011. This event is a great way to demonstrate your commitment and passion to the community and the specialty. The skin cancer check program is the Academy’s longest-standing public health program. Since 1985, dermatologists have conducted more than 2.9 million free skin cancer checks and detected more than 293,000 suspicious lesions, including more than 33,700 suspected melanomas.
